Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "992", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, 5 adjustments, ornately damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, double roller, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a Hamilton base metal, snap back and bezel, open face display case, with Montgomery Arabic numeral, double sunk, white enamel dial, and blued steel hands, serial #892408, c1910
CONDITION:
CASE: Not original to the movement; Fine scratches on outer surface of case. DIAL: Flake in enamel concealed by bezel, 9:30; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Ratchet wheel has spots of oxidation; Click, regulator and regulator spring with minor oxidation; Jewels replaced, center wheel upper, escape upper endstone. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
